Joe Makes His Way Back To Australia

Joe makes his return to down under this fall. In early October, Joe will play six shows varying from October 1st through the 11th. Tickets for Joe’s shows in Australia go on sale in a few hours, 9AM Australian time. Here are the dates:

 

10/01/2012 – Concert Hall in Perth

10/03/2012 – QPAC in Brisbane

10/05/2012 – State Theatre in Sydney

10/07/2012 – Civic Theatre in Newcastle

10/09/2012 – Her Majesty’s Theatre in Adelaide

10/11/2012 – Palais Theatre in Melbourne

There are no pre-sales for the Australia shows. Best of luck in getting tickets and I bet you can’t wait to see Joe! Last time Joe was in Australia was early 2011, where he played several shows at some of the same venues. Stay tuned for updates!

Joe Plays New Song on Planet Rock

Joe’s weekly radio show on the UK  based radio station “Planet Rock” was a bit different this week. Joe played one of the new songs from his upcoming album Driving Towards The Daylight. This song is titled Dislocated Boy and it is the first song off of the album.

New Bonamassa DVD Planned For Summer 2012

We just got a live DVD from Beacon, which was spectacular! But wait, there is more! Joe and the band will be doing an acoustic tour this summer. The tour will be making a stop at the famous Vienna State Opera House in Vienna, Austria on July 3rd. This is Joe’s second DVD shoot in less than a year. I hope this DVD like the majority of the others is released on CD. Joe posted today on Facebook about meeting up with right hand man, Kevin Shirley.

Joe’s acoustic playing is phenomenal, absolutely no one can get enough of “Woke Up Dreaming”. Imagine a whole acoustic show, filled with tunes that we’ve heard acoustic before and some that we haven’t! Tickets to this amazing gig can be purchased here. One Week Till Beacon DVD Release

Today is March 20th, one week till the release of the Beacon DVD. All preorders have shipped out.. did you order from us? Hope so, if not there is still time to order! Just click here… If you did get the DVD, what are you thoughts? I did a full review on the Beacon DVD not too long ago. After watching the DVD several times now, it has become my favorite Joe DVD. I like the songs with Paul Rodgers best. Paul has a great voice and it would be great to see more recording done with Paul Rodgers in the future. Joe Appearing At NAMM This Weekend

So it’s that time of the year again, time for the anual NAMM Convention in Los Angeles, California. Gear heads and musicians come tegether from all over the world to this yearly event. Joe Bonamassa will be at the NAMM, appearing at the Gibson booth. If you’re going ot NAMM on Saturday January 21st, you can stop by Gibson Booth #303AB at 1:30PM and Booth #C4861 at 2:30PM. Joe will be playing a few licks and signing autographs during each appearence.

Live From The Beacon Theater

Tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, Joe will be playing the legendary Beacon Theater in NYC. Both nights will be shot for the live DVD. I’ve also heard t hat each night will have its own special guests. Each show will be different. Saturday is completely sold out, but you can still find a few people selling tickets. Too bad they won’t be able to make it!

Friday still has some seats available. Pretty positive that Friday will be a sell out too. Tickets will go quickly before each show, during the day. No word on who the special guests will be as of yet, but less than 24 hours from now, I will be at the Beacon! I will be there for both shows, tweeting live from the Bonamassa Live Twitter. So if you’re not following the fan website now on twitter, it’s time to follow! You don’t want to miss the pictures and tweets from both of the Beacon Shows.

Are You Using Pandora?

Most of us by now have smartphones and those of us that do, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Pandora Radio. Pandora is a free  application that allows you to type in your favorite band, song, genre of music. It will then create a radio station for you to listen to, starting with the original search term you used. After playing a song from that artist, it will play a song that it finds to be similar.

This is a genius idea, which brings me to my next question. Have you found Joe or Black Country Communion through this application? Pandora automatically selected Black Country Communion for me, based on what I had listened to previously.

If you do not have Pandora on your smartphone (Blackberry, Android, or iPhone), I suggest that you get it! You can also stream online from their website.
