Royal Albert Hall Concert on Blu-Ray

The Royal Albert Hall show was originally released on just DVD format. Coming to stores on October 19th will be the release of Live from Royal Albert Hall in Blu-Ray. By releasing the show in Blu-Ray, those who have 720p or 1080p TV’s with Blu-Ray players will be able to experience the concert in high definition.

This was speculated to happen after the concert was broadcasted on Palladia in HD. That proved to all of us that HD footage was out there, just not available to the general public as of yet. Within the next two weeks, advertising will kick off promoting the new release. Stay tuned!

One Last Soul

Yesterday Black Country Communion debuted their single “One Last Soul” on their website. This song is the first song released from the album to the general public. You can download the single for free here. Joe’s guitar playing is great on this song. You can really start to recognize how Joe has his own tone. It stands out! Joe recently had Bernie Marsden play guitar on “Further On Up The Road”. For those of you who don’t know who Bernie Marsden is, he is from Whitesnake and UFO. Here is a rare video of Can’t Find No Mercy, which was only on the Japanese release of Black Rock. This was just uploaded to YouTube and it kicks some ass. Love the solos in this one, to bad we didn’t get it on the American release of Black Rock. I’d like to see this one re-released sometime down the road. Make sure you have your speakers cranked!
