Joe’s next studio album is done recording. The name has been chosen, but the name has not been made public yet. A recent Facebook update from Joe gives us a little insight on what the name of the album will be.

Barcelona Spain: Day off. Awesome crowd last in Murcia, thank you for such a warm welcome. It will not be 23 years before we return. Listening to killer mixes of songs for the new album.. We have a title and all… Bet you would like know…. Its called…..” dr…… ……… …… ………..” sorry the phone just rang… I catch ya later.

Guitar Of The Week #4: 1931 National Trilolian

bonamassa-1931-national-trilolian

Straight from Joe’s collection, posted on Joe’s official website. Part of his weekly series “Guitar Of The Week.”

This is a 1931 National Trilolian. The sound of the delta blues. I bought this in Indianapolis in 2001. I was priced lower than the reissues on the rack. Oh well, great buy! – Joe Bonamassa

You can check out the rest of Joe’s guitars at the Guitar Of The Week page on his website.

Joe Bonamassa Plays with Gov’t Mule

Not necessarily a new video, but definitely a classic. Joe played on stage with Gov’t Mule in Chicago during October of 2009. They played Albert King’s “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home.” Warren and Joe need to collaborate on more projects. Two of the best guitar plays on one stage, priceless indeed. Shall we take bets on how long it will be before Joe and Warren work together again? Joe covered If Heartaches Were Nickels on his first studio release, A New Day Yesterday.
